Personnel Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (PA to CEO)

Sahaj Solar Pvt. Ltd. (SSPL) is an IEC Approved MNRE Solar Panel Manufacturer in Ahmedabad, India having all National & International Certificates which includes MNRE, MNRE Channel Partner, ISO 9001:2008, TUV Saar, IEC 61215, IEC 61730 – 1 and IEC 61730-2. SSPL supplies quality solar panels all over the India. SSPL also carries out project assignments with Solar Water Pump, Solar Street Light etc.
SSPL is looking for a suitable PA to CEO who can assist to CEO for day today office work and carry out certain administrative functions. The position calls for person with suitable attitude, educational qualification, experience, maturity and integrity.

Job Description:

The candidate should be capable enough to assist and carry out at least following functions:

  • Take day today instructions from CEO
  • Draft appropriate emails and letters in English for certain tasks
  • Maintain calendar of CEO
  • Make arrangement for the tour plan of CEO
  • Receive Calls for the CEO
  • Follow up with subordinate staff of CEO
  • Type notes or prepare minutes of the meetings in English of various meetings conducted by CEO
  • Maintain various office statements with extensive use of EXCEL.
  • Learn ERP and start generating MIS reports

Qualification, Experience & Skill Requirements:

  • Candidate should possess minimum Bachelor’s Degree from any discipline.
  • Candidate having professional qualification like MBA, inter CS, inter CA may be preferred.
  • Candidate should have at least one year of post-qualification experience in the field of Secretarial Assistance, Public Relations or HR.
  • Candidate having experience from manufacturing units may be preferred.
  • Candidate should have excellent communication skills in English - both written and verbal.
  • Candidate should have excellent knowledge of MS-Office.
  • Candidate should have good networking abilities.

Purchase Assistant

  • To Execute & Monitor complete Purchase activity related to raw material & any other material or services related to manufacturing of Solar Panels, Structures, Plant, Projects & machine Maintenance.
  • Purchase Activity Includes
  • Purchase of domestic as well as imported raw material for solar and fabrication industry.
  • Follow up with suppliers for delivery of purchased items as per the delivery schedule.
  • Deal with suppliers for non-supplied material, under order delivery, over order delivery and damaged goods if any.
  • Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Examine and review products and suppliers to ensure quality criteria.
  • Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets and also working for improvement of purchasing systems and processes.
  • Negotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supply.
  • Analyze potential vendors and suppliers for future project needs.
    Co‐ordinate with account team members on invoicing and other financial term.
  • Preparing required documents for import material and make communication in custom department through the concerned person for other documents and approval for procurement of imported items
  • bond process for import planning to the custom department.
  • Working with the clearance team at various port for material clearance process and ensure to file all the documents properly and in the time frame.
  • Co‐ordination with production, stores and QC departments.
    Interactions with suppliers for new requirement and new product development.
  • Coordination with approved Vendors for rate, Material availability etc.
  • Vendor selection and order Finalization
  • Post order activities like Maintaining Purchase data, material follow up, material inward, Account entry verification & Payment process
  • Coordinate with Vendor in case of material rejection , Goods return or any material or service related issues
  • Vendor Development.
  • Monitoring & Performance evaluation of all major approved vendors and maintain business relation with them based on evaluation and future business policy.
  • Negotiation and finalization of rate contract for all major production related and routine consumption products.
  • Monitoring and reviewing rates monthly, Quarterly or yearly based on market and type of product & try to reduce final costing of approved BOM as much as possible in each Quarter.
  • Market survey and suggestion of new or alternate product suitable in production or project (change in BOM) to reduce overall BOM costing without affecting or degradation of quality of finish product or project items.
  • Co-ordinate with production / Project team to review stock and schedule purchase plan based on production / Project planning.
  • Co-ordinate with production / Quality team for approval of any new product while execution of sample / trial order.
  • Participate in vendor visit along with Quality person for new vendor development
  • Working for various certification processes as per requirement and standards.
  • Co‐ordinate with QC team for calibration of each and every instrument which required calibration.
  • Take a Part in audit process of mainly testing of PV modules and related certificate.

Hardware Design Engineer, Smart Energy Meter

You will be joining a dedicated team at Sahaj Solar Pvt. Ltd. – a company working towards providing sustainable energy solutions. We are involved in installation, erection and commissioning of the solar panels. Our mission is to provide cost-effective renewable energy solutions through state-of-the research and development initiatives.

We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer who has experience in developing end-to-end microcontroller or microprocessor based solutions and meteorology. A strong background in procedural programming language like C and object oriented programming language like C++ is required.

As a hardware design engineer, you will help us build the next generation metering infrastructure by integrating smart meters, communication networks and data management systems that enables two way communication between utilities and consumers. This opportunity is for one who is an avid and accomplished researcher, has solid understanding in the Smart Meter/Smart Grid Utility space, advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Data Management (MDM).

You will be the part of the small but smart team whose core values include offering a safe environment to be yourself, share your ideas and offer your perspective. You will have an opportunity to work with all the aspects of the product life cycle that ranges from ideation, system design, proto-typing, troubleshooting, installation and developing.

Skills and Requirement

  • Bachelors/ Masters in Electrical/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication engineering with 4-6 years’ experience in hardware product design & development.
  • Strong execution skills in C/C++, RTOS based development and meterology.
    Fundamentals of meterology are nice to have.
  • Experience on Analog and Mixed signal design, SMPS/power supply, multi-layer PCB design, circuit simulation.
  • Experience working on 32-bit ARM based architecture.
  • 2-4 years experience in product development experience on smart energy meter (1P / 3P), prepayment meter, LT/CT meter is nice to have.
  • Understanding of communication technologies such as PLCC, RF - mesh, GPRS/ LTE/ NBIoT, Zigbee, IoT sensors, TCP/IP and M2M Cellular.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB tools like Altium, Eagle is nice to have.
  • Experience on developing energy meters based on standard - IS15959 part 1 ,2 and 3.
  • Background experience of LAN, HAN, WAN.
  • Hands-on experience using version control systems like Git and SVN.
  • Prior knowledge and embedded development and testing process.

Responsibilities

  • Person shall be responsible for architecture and design of smart metering/ gateway products.
  • Overall architecture ownership, design and development.
    Design, implementation and debugging for resolution of complex issues.
    Able to provide robust and stable design with optimum resources in terms of memory and processor.
  • Communication with Excellent domain knowledge in communication technology and good knowledge of metering domain

Project Engineer

Job Description:
The candidate should have:

  • Basic Knowledge about electrical equipment which are being used in the Solar Power plant, like HT/LT & MCC Panels, Cable size calculation, ACDB , DCDB.
  • Basic Knowledge about how to do site survey of Solar Power Plant and Solar Water Pumping System.
  • Preparation of Drawing for single line diagram, Cable schedules, Cable Layout Etc.
  • Planning of material and coordinate with Purchase team and Store team for the required specification of BOM and their availability.
  • Coordination skill for smooth functioning of the project.

Knowledge of the following is desirable:

  • PVsyst and Autocad software is desirable.
  • Inverter Selection using datasheet is desirable.
  • Remote monitoring of solar power plant and Solar water pump.

Experience of the following is preferred:

  • Installation and maintenance of Solar Power Plant and Solar Water pumping System is desirable.
  • Solar Project engineering, Erection and Commissioning of minimum capacity of 50 KW Solar Power Plant.

Qualification, Experience & Skill Requirements:

  • Candidate should have Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 months / 1 year related experience is desirable.
  • Candidate should have very good communication skills.
  • Candidate should have very good knowledge of MS-Office & Autocad.

Salary: Rs.18000 to Rs.20000 per month.

HR & Admin Assistant
